Yesterday was a long day for Jonathan. He had his first out-patient doctor's visit, and like most of them, the wait was 45 minutes before he was even seen. So, about a 2and 1/2 hour trip out of the house left him pretty pooped the rest of the evening/night. That's kinda the way it'll be for a little bit. There's so much energy that he has to put in everything that it just wears him out.

Since he's been home he's been eating a lot better. He's gaining weight back little by little. That's one of the goal right now - to put some weight on him. He lost over 1/3 of his body weight while being in the hospital!! The major concern and need of prayer right now is still vision in his right eye. Everything else so far is healing at the pace it should, but he still has no sight out of his right eye and the vision in his left is sometimes strained. Because of that he has difficulty reading and focusing on words, writing in lines, etc. It's definitely a big concern for him, and one that we pray about often with him. So, please continue to join us in those prayers.

God is definitely still working in this situation and in all of us. Since the beginning we have seen the evidence of His hand all over this circumstance and over us. Now, we are only seeing that continue. We give him praise for all He's done and believe that the best is yet to come!!

As I celebrated Ash Wednesday today and the preparation for the resurrection of Jesus Christ I said a prayer for Jonathan and your family. All of you are amazing because God is speaking through you. It is so exciting to hear that Jonathan has been called upon to minister the youth of America and the world. It seems that God's children (young and old) have strayed away from him lately and this is God's way of letting them know that he still loves them no matter what and that he is there for them and wants them to come home. May Jonathan inspire those that are lost and those that have never known our God so that they too will always feel welcomed and loved. God Bless all of you during this most precious time of Lent.
