Last night I stayed in the room with Jonathan. It was a rough night, as most are. During the night they are constantly coming in to rearrange him and change dressings, take x-rays, check all the lines running in him, etc. Last night was more of the same. He had a few coughing fits, which the nurses reassured me were good for him, but still i got up from my sleep to rub his shoulder and hold his hand til they stopped.

right now the nurse is giving him a thorough cleaning. She and I both agreed it was over due. With so many tubes and dressings - things can begin to smell rather quickly. They are taking very good care of him here and we are so grateful.

In just a bit they will be changing around some lines. They are also going to be doing some things with his bowels today as yesterday was no success. It is very important that they get this taken care of. They have a few other possibilities of things to do today as well and I will keep you updated as we get definite news of anything else.

Thanks so much for your prayers. God is faithful.

Rebecca,

I want to thank you again for you’re many updates on Jonathan progress. These blogs make me feel closer to Jonathan, his family and his friends. It easy to see how much Jonathan is loved by so many.

I keep Jonathan and the Newman in my prayers. God is faithful and that is seen through the many miracles that he is working within Jonathan. I have no doubt that God will bring Jonathan through this.

Rebecca,

I just want you to know that in addition to all the love and support that you and your family is receiving, my family and everyone that I know who even came into contact with Jonathan, also is here rooting for him. I myself am not that spiritual of a person but one thing I can say is this whole situation shows that there is a such thing as miracles and I pray each day for him to get better so that my Indya can have her "Uncle Johnny" back.....I know things will get better so feel secure knowing we all have faith!

Thank you everyone for your expression of support and your fervent prayers. I know it is a blessing to me and my family. My mom asks me each night to show her the comments and she is so often moved to tears by the kind words and love expressed. Thank you all for that!

Rebecca, we have been praying hard for Jonathan and all of as well.
Pastor Larry Shrodes at Northside made us aware of what happened during Sundays service.
My heart goes out to you guys continually, I thank God that he is so in control of what is happening. It is so great that we can rely on him.
So please know we are with you all in spirit and expecting God to come through big time!!

I hope to see you all soon when it is possible.

Rebecca and Newman family it is wonderful news to hear how much praying for Jonathan has assisted in his healing. Since I wrote on the 1st a lot has happened. Some ups and some slides but it sounds like more prayers are needed and I can tell you that the Gosdoski Family is doing our part. If there is anything what so ever that you or your family needs please let us know. There is plenty of people to assist you with the normal daily chores so that you can stay beside your brother and son. Please do not hestitate to call upon your friends for assistance as we have called upon God.

Much love and prayers,
Sue Gosdoski & family
