There's been some news to share since I've gotten back to the hospital from work. Again, Jonathan's fever is high. They have once again put a ice blanket underneath him to try and keep it down. Please pray that it goes down and remains down.

Also, while I was in there sitting with him the optometrist came in to check on his eyes. After doing a few test and putting in some drops he said that there was some definite scratches on both eyes. They are on the outsides of the cornea. He said there's also some bacterial infection so they put some antibacterial ointment in both of his eyes. They won't be able to determine anything about his vision until later on after the's off of the sedation meds.

So, please continue to pray for him as we are sure that you are. We know he is in God's hand and are trusting that he will do the miracles we are asking.

In not having much time to check on Jonathan's progress here online, I do hear a lot at work (PMSI).

I have spent a lot of time just getting caught up on the latest posts since last I have read and it seems there is so much happening.

As many have shared already with you, your family, and directly to Jonathan; I feel the love of all and the presence of the Lord Almighty in every second, hour, and day that is shared here.

It can't be said enough Rebecca to you, the greatfulness of the time you spend with your brother in spirt and in prayer as well as these updates that you bring to so many.

I'm not one for speaking much (a person of few words); much less voicing or sharing a word of prayer publicly. I'd like to do that here and now.

Dear Lord,

Please lay your gentle hands on Jonathan in this hour and calm his fever. Wrap your loving arms around him and his family and give comfort in these long hours of worry and need.

We praise you Lord for the love you have given and shared already but continue to ask that you bring us all together in love and gratitude as we watch one so dearly fight for his life.

We know that in time the healing that Jonathan will and has experienced will be shared to Glorify You, and to bring the lost and doubtful back to your full Grace.

Please Lord, we also ask to lay hands on Jonathan's eyes that he may continue to see the marvalous gifts you bring us all.

Lord we ask for so much and most times, give so little, for it is because we are constantly learning about your great and awesome love.

We ask these great and wonderful things in the name of the Greatest Son of all.

Amen.

Thank you for allowing me to share this prayer with you, your family but especially Jonathan. I wish I knew you and your family Rebecca as all of you seem such a loving and close family. I believe it will be that love, that closeness, the strength in which you all drawl from one another that will bring Jonathan back whole to all of us.

Sorry for the long post.
